The last few days here I've been moving the CozyNet site to a different hosting provider. Originally CozyNet was setup on a VPS with Afterburst, but unfortunately they're planning to shut down their operation this May.

My followup review of running Ubuntu

A few months ago I wrote a blog post about my experience with Ubuntu 25.04 and the GNOME desktop. I'm glad to report that I'm still on the same setup and haven't yet jumped off onto a different distribution or desktop.

Not so Common Desktop Environment (NsCDE)

NsCDE is a UNIX desktop environment that mimics the look and feel of the Common Desktop Environment (CDE) of the nineties, but with modern features and applications. It is a set of FVWM applications and configurations, enriched with Python and Shell drivers, GTK and Qt themes, and custom scripts.

This is a pretty cool project for creating custom Debian or Ubuntu based Linux distro-respins. I've been testing it out to see if I can't make a most Cozy Debian based re-spin. Try it out for yourself and make your own!
